In September 2005, we went on our marriage and honeymoon journey. A week in Tamarac, Florida getting ready and getting married. A week in Disney, a week in The Keys, a week on the Caribbean Princess and a night in South Beach. The photos here say it all - we've never had so much fun in our lives. This is a small selection of the photos..

The day after the wedding party, we drove to Disney where we spent 6 days

Vera and Sofi thought Disney was just for kids!

"And if I say to you tomorrow, take my hand, child, come with me, it's to a castle I will take you"

A colorful show at the castle

We started off at Tomorrowland. This is the part of Disney I remembered the most. Some of the rides were the same but a few things were new - like Stitch, which we'd never heard of. After doing most of what we could do in Tomorrowland, we walked to Liberty Square where we had lunch at the 1700's-style Liberty Tree Tavern.

Crowds were low, lines were short and the weather was nice

We ate dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table inside the castle. A slipper for dessert!

A photo with Cinderella after dinner

An afternoon parade

We stayed at the All-Star Music Resort at the Jazz Inn

We were only in the room at night and loved the fun design

A day at Epcot wasn't enough - World Showcase was so much fun to walk through. We ate in Germany, Japan and Mexico.

MGM had a few new things to see in 2005. We ate lunch at the 1920's-style Hollywood Brown Derby and dinner at Hollywood and Vine, a 50's-style all-you-can-eat. I made reservations for all of our sit-down meals months in advance and it was worth it -- for adults, part of the fun is eating every meal at a unique restaurant.

A morning at the Animal Kingdom followed by more Epcot time. The Rainforest Cafe, with its rain, thunder and other effects, was cool.

What a fun week! We left with memories and a suitcase full of gifts.
